Success Gay Surrogacy Story

David and I just wanted to say what a great experience we had working with CSP. From our initial consultations to the arrival of our twins, we could not have been more pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and overall helpfulness of everyone whom we worked with through our surrogacy. We felt that CSP was super in matching us with a phenomenal surrogate, who we adore and still keep in contact with now that our twins are 15 months old.
Starting the surrogacy process was extremely intimidating for us at the beginning. We had very little knowledge and everyone at CSP really took the time to make sure everything was in order and organized to the best of their abilities for a smooth transfer to a confirmed pregnancy and finally the birth of our twins. We had tried for several years to adopt, with no luck and it felt like no one to help us in our desire to have children. That’s when we turned to looking into surrogacy and found CSP. We are grateful for our wonderful twins and for the help CSP in achieving our dream.

Dear CSP,
We’d been together 10 years when we decided to become dads. (More precisely, that one of us was eager, and the other wasn’t quite convinced, though open to the possibility). But how? A friend had created his family through surrogacy, and that led us to do some searching online. That’s how we came across CSP.
Happily, the CSP folks were reassuring, and totally comfortable with us as a gay couple. Maybe just as important, they were OK with us being uncertain if we were ready to proceed. But one step led to the next, and each step on the journey felt so right. Soon, we were scraping together the money, signing contracts and getting excited and nervous.
With unusual speed, we were tentatively matched with a potential surrogate. She was incredible – everything we’d dreamed of, and then some. CSP has done some marvelous things for us, but the truth is, everything pales in comparison to introducing us to this amazing, strong, loving surrogate mother. We’d never have found each other without CSP. She has changed our lives forever.
It didn’t seem like it then, but everything happened very fast – at least it did for us. On only our second attempt, our surrogate got pregnant. We learned many wonderful things during that pregnancy. Among them was our admiration for the surrogate’s husband, whose devotion to his wife was remarkable.
The day that our son was born remains the happiest, most perfect day of our lives. Beforehand, we sometimes wondered what people would think of our family. The joy we experienced at the hospital gave us a preview: People have been delighted _ for our extended families, for our son, and especially for us, the parents who will love this little boy with all their hearts, and treasure him all their lives.
Five years have passed since that day. Our lives have changed in every possible way, including our décor: now it’s toy cars, picture books and superheroes. But the real change is the love and laughter and chaos that a child brings. We enjoyed it so much that, two years later, we and our surrogate decided to do it all again. Today we have two happy and healthy boys, doubling our quotient of giggles, shouts and gooey kisses.
That’s our story. It’s not a path everyone would choose, but for us, it has been wonderful. We know that surrogacy is expensive and the outcome is uncertain. We’ve since gotten to know other gay couples who've gone through surrogacy and unlike us many have endured some jolts along the way. But in the end, they all became fathers. And that made it all worthwhile.

CSP helped us to transform our vision of being a family into reality. We interviewed with several other agencies and considered other options but it was CSP whom we trusted most to help us through the many steps of becoming a family. From the first contact, to the meeting in Annapolis through the interview in Encino we knew we wanted to work with the most experienced people who really believe in what they are doing. We also felt CSP’s staff is experienced and comfortable working with couples from Europe. Our surrogate mom Heidi was wonderful and we became friends right from the start. We will always be grateful to her for what she did.
We are currently starting to plan our next surrogacy and are looking forward to work with CSP again.
